Meet Rachel
Rachel Giddings is an Integrative Psychotherapist (BACP Accredited) and the creator of The Calm Switch™ a therapeutic approach designed to help people break free from fear-based patterns and reclaim a sense of inner safety.
For almost a decade, she has run her own clinical practice, supporting hundreds of clients to overcome phobias, anxiety responses, and avoidance patterns that once kept their lives small. Through this work, she noticed a common thread: fear isn’t just an emotion, it’s a learned survival response that can quietly shape identity, confidence, and choice.
Having navigated and healed her own phobias through therapy, Rachel brings both clinical depth and lived understanding to her work. The Calm Switch™ Method was born from this intersection, combining psychotherapy, nervous system regulation, and compassionate behavioural change to help clients move from fear-driven living to grounded self-trust.
She is known for her calm, attuned presence and her ability to make complex inner processes feel understandable, practical, and empowering.
